About Dr. Levey

Dr. Bard Levey is one of the most highly trained cosmetic/ restorative dentist for adults in Westchester County. Dr. Levey is especially proud of his advanced training, which includes nearly 1100 hours of continuing dental education since graduating from dental school in 1991. (New York State has only required dentists to complete about 20 hours of extra training per year for the last few years; so by NY standards, Dr. Levey has been required to complete only about 100 hours of advanced training). Because of this advanced training, Dr. Levey is especially qualified to perform cosmetic and traditional dental work using minimally-invasive dental procedures involving cutting-edge technology (in english this means that he uses techniques that save more of your own natural tooth structure, and so results usually look better, feel better, and last longer).Dr. Levey designed his office to allow him to treat his patients as individuals, and not like a "dental factory" so common in today's world of medicine.This means that Dr. Levey will only treat one person at a time (he will not line patients up in rooms along the hall and rush between them) and he will schedule long or short visits to fit into his patient's schedule (his adaptive scheduling includes early morning and late night appointments also). Dr. Levey uses his extensive knowledge and experience to customize the treatment for each patient, resulting in hundreds of happy patients.Dr. Levey learned his unique approach to health care from his father who was also a dentist. He taught his son: 'Always remember that attached to each tooth is a person... you are treating a whole person...and usually a very anxious person.
